FAQ
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the wedding is lounge suits and summer dresses. As the wedding is in Jersey in June, we’d recommend keeping the weather in mind — although, as ever in the Channel Islands, it’s best to be prepared for a little bit of everything!
Is the wedding outside?
The ceremony will take place outdoors, so fingers crossed for some lovely Jersey sunshine! The reception will then move into a beautiful yurt, where we’ll continue the celebrations whatever the weather decides to do. We’d recommend bringing a light layer with you, just in case!
How do I get to Jersey and where should I stay?
We’ve put together a dedicated Travel & Stay page with everything you need to know about getting to Jersey, including flights and ferries, as well as recommendations for where to stay. You’ll also find information about getting around the island once you’re here.
What time does the ceremony and reception start?
The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm, followed by the reception at 4:30pm. Please refer to the Home page for the full itinerary and timings for the wedding weekend.
How do I get to the wedding venue?
There is no parking available at the wedding venue, so we strongly recommend arranging alternative transport.
A coach will be provided from Jersey town centre to the venue, with return transport afterwards.
Alternatively, you can book a taxi. We strongly recommend booking your taxi in advance, particularly for the journey home. Some local taxi companies include:
Domino Cabs - 01534 855 555
Yellow Cabs Ltd - 01534 888 888
Liberty Cabs - 01534 767 700
What will the weather be like in Jersey in late June?
Hopefully, glorious! Late June is generally one of the nicest times of year to visit Jersey, with average daytime temperatures around 18°C. That said, the weather can be unpredictable, so we’d recommend bringing a light jacket or something warm for the evening — just in case.
Do you have a wedding registry?
Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for. Having all of our favourite people together in Jersey to celebrate with us means more than anything.
That said, if you would like to give us a gift, we’d be incredibly grateful for a contribution towards our honeymoon/future home.
Is there an open bar?
Yes! The bar will be open throughout the wedding day, so grab a drink, raise a glass and celebrate with us!
Is there parking at the venue?
No — there is no parking available at the venue at all. The venue is accessed via a country lane and unfortunately there is nowhere for guests to park.
Please make use of the wedding coach from Jersey town centre or book a taxi in advance. We’ve included details of local taxi companies above to help make getting to and from the venue as easy as possible.
Will there be anything happening the next day?
Absolutely — the celebrations don’t stop after the wedding!
We’ll be hosting a relaxed farewell BBQ at St Ouen’s Beach on Sunday, giving everyone the chance to recover, enjoy some food and drinks, and spend one last afternoon together before heading home.
